  • What areas do you serve in Connecticut?

As one of the most renowned cooling and heating companies in the area, we proudly serve residential and commercial clients in Trumbull and surrounding areas, including Bridgeport, Fairfield, Monroe, Milford, Shelton, Stratford, and Westport.
  • What is a ductless mini-split system, and how does it work?

A ductless mini-split is a highly efficient heating and cooling system that doesn't require bulky ductwork. It consists of an outdoor compressor and one or more indoor air-handling units. Unlike traditional systems, it uses a small conduit to transfer heat directly between the units. In the summer, it pumps heat out of your home; in the winter, it reverses the process to pull heat from the outside air and bring it indoors.
  • Can a mini-split really heat my home during a cold Connecticut winter?

Yes! Modern "cold-climate" heat pumps are designed to operate efficiently even when temperatures drop well below freezing. Many units can provide effective heating down to -13°F or lower. They are an excellent, cost-effective alternative to baseboard electric heat or oil furnaces, often providing 2 to 4 times the efficiency of traditional heating methods.
  • How much can I save on my energy bills by switching to a heat pump?

Homeowners often see significant savings—sometimes up to 30–50% on their heating and cooling costs. Because mini-splits avoid the energy loss associated with ductwork (which can account for over 30% of a home's energy consumption) and utilize "inverter technology" to adjust speeds precisely, they use far less electricity than standard central air or electric heaters.
  • How long does the installation process take?

One of the biggest advantages of a mini-split is the non-invasive installation. Since no ductwork is required, our team can often complete a single-zone installation in just one day. We only need to drill a small three-inch hole in an exterior wall to connect the indoor and outdoor units, minimizing the disruption to your home.
  • Can I control the temperature in different rooms separately?

Absolutely. This is known as "zoning." With a multi-zone mini-split system, you can have individual indoor units in different rooms (like bedrooms, a basement, or a home).
